An der Stadtgrenze von Frankfurt am Main zu Offenbach entstand am so genannten Kaiserleikreisel der Neubau für die Mercedes-Benz Niederlassung Rhein-Main für Neu- und Gebrauchtwagen. Neben der zentralen, dreigeschossigen Ausstellungshalle an der nordöstlichen Grundstücksecke gliedert sich der L-förmige Gesamtkomplex entsprechend der weiteren Funktionen Büro, Lager und Werkstatt in jeweils klar ablesbaren Baukörpern. Aufgrund der relativ großen Grundstücksgröße und den insgesamt ca. 478 Stellplätzen im Außenbereich kam der Gestaltung der Freiflächen eine besondere Bedeutung zu.
At the city limits between Frankfurt am Main and Offenbach, at the so-called Kaiserlei roundabout on the A661 motorway, a new location for Mercedes-Benz’s Rhein-Main branch for new and used vehicles was built. Next to the central three-storey showroom at the northeast corner of the property, the overall, L-shaped complex is divided into offices, warehouse and workshop, with each function forming a clearly visible structure. Continuous, building-defining fascias serve to give a unified appearance to the structures, which also mark the edge of the city along with the streets that delimit the property. Given the relatively large size of the property and the approx. 478 outdoor parking spaces, the design of open space was of particular importance.
