Auf der derzeit größten Baustelle Nordbayerns feierte die Siemens AG gemeinsam mit Vertretern der Stadt sowie der beteiligten Bauunternehmen Richtfest für das Modul 1. Es umfasst neben acht Bürogebäuden auch drei Parkhäuser sowie ein Fahrradparkhaus. Ab Mitte 2020 werden hier ca. rund 7.000 Mitarbeiter auf über 100.000 m² Bürofläche ihren Arbeitsplatz haben. WITTE verantwortet das Controlling für das erste Modul des Campus. Insgesamt entsteht auf einer Grundstücksfläche von rund 54 Hektar im Süden der Stadt Erlangen ein komplett neuer Stadtteil. „Der Siemens Campus wird das neue Wahrzeichen von Siemens in Erlangen und im Großraum werden“, sagte Prof. Ralf P. Thomas, CFO und Mitglied des Vorstands der Siemens AG, in seiner Richtfestrede.

Siemens AG celebrated the topping-out ceremony for module 1 with city representatives and the participating construction firms on what is currently northern Bavaria's largest construction site. In addition to eight office buildings, it also includes three parking garages and one bicycle garage. Around 7,000 employees will be working here in office space of 100,000 m² starting in mid-2020.WITTE is in charge of controlling for the first campus module. A whole new district is being created on around 54 hectares of total land area south of the city of Erlangen. "The Siemens Campus will be the new Siemens landmark in Erlangen and the region," said Professor Ralf P. Thomas, CFO and member of the Managing Board at Siemens AG, in his speech at the topping-out ceremony.
