In der vergangenen Woche war Premierenfeier in der neuen Astor Film Lounge in Hamburg. Damit wurde der erste Bereich in unserem Projekt KPTN in der HafenCity eröffnet. Der Kinokomplex mit insgesamt drei Sälen wurde von der Berliner Innenarchitektin Anna Maske (Maske & Suhren Berlin) gestaltet. Der große Saal ist ein massiver Baukörper und kann, wie der große Saal der Elbphilharmonie, auf Stahlfederlagern frei schwingen, schwebt praktisch zwölf Zentimeter über dem Boden. Die Wände sind bis zu 1,50 Meter dick, um Schallübertragungen in die anderen Säle und das über dem Kino liegende Hotel zu unterbinden. Auch der kleine Saal mit 118 Ledersitzen, gleichfalls mit Dolby Atmos ausgestattet, und das Clubkino mit 75 Plätzen sind akustisch entkoppelt.
A premiere was celebrated last week in the new Astor Film Lounge in Hamburg. It marked the opening of the first section in our KPTN project in the HafenCity. The cinema complex with a total of three halls was designed by Berlin interior decorator Anna Maske (Maske & Suhren Berlin). The large hall is a solid structure that can swing freely on steel spring hangers like the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, practically floating twelve centimetres above the ground. Its walls are up to 1.50 metres thick to prevent sound transmission to the other halls and the hotel above the cinema. The small hall with 118 leather seats, also equipped with Dolby Atmos, and the club cinema with 75 seats are acoustically decoupled as well.
