Mehr als 300 Wohnungen in modularer Bauweise könnten oberhalb der Münchener Straße in Düsseldorf entstehen. Im Stadtteil Reisholz fand Mitte März bereits vor Beginn des offiziellen Bauleitplanverfahrens eine frühzeitige Bürgerinformation zu dem Projekt statt. Die Pi Konzept GmbH, Gesellschaft zur Überbauung von Infrastrukturen, das Düsseldorfer Architekturbüro StructureLab und die Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf stellten das zukunftsweisende Projekt visuell und filmisch vor, informierten in kurzen Impulsvorträgen über das Vorhaben, die geplanten nächsten Schritte sowie die Einbindung des Projekts in das Gesamtquartier und standen persönlich zur Verfügung, um Fragen zu beantworten und Anregungen entgegenzunehmen.
Cornelia Zuschke, Beigeordnete für Planen, Bauen, Wohnen und Grundstückswesen in Düsseldorf ist überzeugt: „Dieses innovative und experimentelle Projekt bietet die Möglichkeit mit einem Minimum an Versiegelung neue Wege der Wohnraumschaffung zu gehen. Es handelt sich um ein Pilotprojekt, das bei erfolgreicher Umsetzung auch für andere Standorte untersucht werden und vorbildgebend sein könnte.“
Frank Schmid, Geschäftsführer Pi Konzept, erläutert: "Mit der Überbauung und der Skalierbarkeit ermöglichen wir industrielle Fertigungsprozesse für individuellen und neuen Wohnraum. Mit weniger als fünf Prozent Flächenversiegelung schaffen wir über jedem Meter Straße mehr als 100 Quadratmeter Quartiersfläche. Gemeinsam mit der Landeshauptstadt wollen wir mit unserem Pilotprojekt wegweisende Schritte für nachhaltige und innovative Quartiersentwicklung in urbanen Räumen gehen."
Das Projekt und dessen Umsetzung wird von Beginn an von WITTE Projektmanagement technisch begleitet und gesteuert.

More than 300 flats in modular construction could be built above Münchener Strasse in Düsseldorf. An early public consultation on the project took place in the Reisholz district in mid-March before the official land-use planning process began. Pi Konzept GmbH, Gesellschaft zur Überbauung von Infrastrukturen, the Düsseldorf architecture firm StructureLab and the state capital of Düsseldorf presented the pioneering project visually and on film, gave short keynote speeches about the project, the planned next steps and the integration of the project into the overall neighbourhood and were personally available to answer questions and receive suggestions.
Cornelia Zuschke, Councillor for Planning, Building, Housing and Property in Düsseldorf, is convinced: "This innovative and experimental project offers the opportunity to break new ground in the creation of living space with a minimum of sealing. It is a pilot project that, if successfully implemented, could also be investigated for other locations and set an example."
Frank Schmid, Managing Director of Pi Konzept, explains: "With the superstructure and scalability, we are enabling industrial production processes for individual and new living space. By sealing less than five percent of the surface area, we are creating more than 100 square metres of neighbourhood space above every metre of road. Together with the state capital, we want to take pioneering steps for sustainable and innovative neighbourhood development in urban areas with our pilot project."
The project and its implementation will be technically supported and managed by WITTE Projektmanagement from the outset.
