Wir sind stolz und dankbar für das Vertrauen: Die HSO Projekt gGmbH hat WITTE das Projektmanagement für eines der derzeit bedeutendsten Kulturprojekte Deutschlands übertragen. Mit der Entscheidung für den Siegerentwurf der Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) beginnt für uns eine besondere Aufgabe: die Neue Staatsoper Hamburg auf ihrem Weg zur Realisierung zu begleiten.
In den kommenden zwei Jahren wird unser Team mit voller Kraft auf die Durchführungsentscheidung Ende 2027 hinarbeiten – erst sie ermöglicht die anschließende Realisierung. Gemeinsam mit der Kühne-Stiftung, der Stadt Hamburg und der Staatsoper gestalten wir nun die nächsten Schritte: von der erweiterten Vorplanung über Kostensicherheit bis hin zur Entscheidungsgrundlage, die Hamburg auf dem Weg zu einem Opernhaus unterstützt, das Architektur, Öffentlichkeit und Kultur neu verbindet.

We are proud and grateful for the trust placed in us: HSO Projekt gGmbH has entrusted WITTE with the project management for one of Germany's most significant cultural projects at present. With the decision in favour of the winning design by the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), a special task begins for us: to accompany the New Hamburg State Opera on its way to realisation.
Over the next two years, our team will work flat out towards the implementation decision at the end of 2027 – only then will the subsequent realisation be possible. Together with the Kühne Foundation, the City of Hamburg and the State Opera, we are now shaping the next steps: from extended preliminary planning and cost certainty to the basis for decision-making that will support Hamburg on its way to an opera house that reconnects architecture, the public and culture.
