Mit der Grundsteinlegung am 29. Januar 2020 für ein Hotel der Marke Scandic hat der 2. Bauabschnitt für das Hafenpark-Quartier auf dem Honsell-Dreieck im Ostend begonnen. Das Gebäudeensemble wurde von dem international renommierten Hamburger Architekten Hadi Teherani entworfen und wird von der Hamburger B&L Gruppe realisiert, die für die gesamte Entwicklung des Hafenpark Quartiers verantwortlich zeichnet.
Das Hotel neben der Europäischen Zentralbank hat 505 Zimmer und soll 2022 fertig sein. Zum 2. Bauabschnitt gehören auch 288 Eigentumswohnungen, die in zwei 52 und 58 Meter hohen Türmen entstehen.
Auf dem rund 34.000 m² großen Areal zwischen dem Campus der EZB und dem Osthafen errichtet die Hamburger B&L Gruppe in enger Abstimmung mit der Stadt Frankfurt ein Quartier mit insgesamt 180.000 m² oberirdischer Bruttogeschossfläche. Als Nutzungsarten sind Miet- und Eigentumswohnungen, Hotels, Büros, Nahversorgungseinrichtungen und Gastronomie vorgesehen. Damit entsteht ein urbanes Quartier mit erheblicher Strahlkraft für die moderne Stadtentwicklung Frankfurts.
Die 316 Mietwohnungen im 1. Bauabschnitt stehen bereits kurz vor der Fertigstellung.
WITTE steuert alle Teilprojekte dieser spannenden Frankfurter Entwicklung, mit der ein neues, lebendiges Quartier am Main geschaffen wird.

The laying of the Scandic Hotel's cornerstone on 29 January2020 marked the second phase of construction for the Hafenpark Quarter on theHonsell Triangle in Ostend. The building complex was designed by theinternationally renowned Hamburg architect Hadi Teherani and executed by theB&L group from Hamburg, which is responsible for the overall development ofthe Hafenpark Quarter.
The hotel, which located adjacent to the European CentralBank, has 505 rooms and is slated for completion in 2022. The second phase ofconstruction also includes 288 condominiums in two towers that will be 52 and58 metres high.
Working in close cooperation with the city of Frankfurt, theB&L group from Hamburg is building a quarter with a total of 180,000 m²gross above-ground floor space on the approx. 34,000 m² of land between thegrounds of the ECB and the Osthafen. Hotels, offices, shops, restaurants andcatering services as well as rental units and condominiums are planned for thislocation. In regards to Frankfurt's modern urban development, this means therewill be an urban quarter with considerable appeal.
As part of the first phase of construction, 316 rental unitsare already nearing completion.
