The comprehensive refurbishment of the former Thyssen-Krupp head office in Düsseldorf was completed successfully. The listed office tower with 24 upper floors and three basement floors was equipped with entirely new building services and was given a new façade of aluminium and glass. WITTE controlled the project of MOMENI Projektentwicklung GmbH and Black Horse Investments GmbH, was responsible for quality building supervision and TAI, and supervised the LEED Gold certification. The Dreischeibenhaus, one of the most significant architectural examples of post-war modernism, won the MIPIM Award 2015 in the 'Best Refurbished Building' category.
